CALIFAS Window Banners
Six foot tall banners designed in collaboration with Felicia Rice of Moving Parts Press and Museo Eduardo Carrillo, for display in the windows of the Santa Cruz and Watsonville Public Libraries. They are part of the CALIFAS Legacy Project and Moving Parts Press' art book launch. The murals are a collaboration of Chicano/a/x artists from the Central Coast of California: Yermo Aranda, Carmen León, Ralph D’Oliveira, and Amalia Mesa-Bains. Printed by Community Printers of Santa Cruz. There are eight banners, designed to be used in flexible groupings based on the different window configurations in the various libraries.
